Strategic Environmental Assessment

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) provides the opportunity to identify, predict, report and mitigate the environmental impacts of certain proposed public sector plans and programmes. EnviroCentre provides a range if SEA consultancy services, through its multi-disciplinary team and partnerships with leading SEA researchers and practitioners. Services can be provided to support;

  • Implementation framework development;
  • Capacity-building and training;
  • Quality Review and verification of Environmental Reports;
  • Technical aspects of environmental assessment;
  • Gap analysis of environmental baseline information;
  • Stakeholder engagement and consultation;
  • Environmental policy development and implementation; and
  • Facilitation of internal and external workshops.
