Contaminated Land

Contaminated land carries uncertainty, financial risk and potentially significant liability for stakeholders. Working with our clients we aim to provide innovation and experience to ensure these risks are understood and, following remediation, removed.

EnviroCentre offers a range of consultancy services to a variety of public and private sector clients to assess the human health and environmental risks presented by contaminated land.

EnviroCentre have experience in providing support to local authorities with regard to their statutory requirements under Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. We also provide support with remediation design, implementation and validation for a range of different sites including oil storage facilities, landfills, gas works, chemical works, dock areas and multifaceted industrial sites.

EnviroCentre aims to provide best practice remediation options incorporating innovative thinking to allow cost and programme constraints to be effectively managed and ensuring client focus at all times. All investigations are completed in accordance with the British Standard document ‘Investigation of Potentially Contaminated Sites’ – Code of Practice (BS10175:2001).
