Environmental Consultant (EAM)

EnviroCentre is seeking to recruit an Environmental Consultant to work in our Glasgow office. Candidates should have 2-5 years previous Consultancy experience. They must also hold a valid UK drivers licence and suitable references.

Although supporting multiple business areas the post will be situated within the Environmental Assessment and Monitoring division.

The successful candidate will hold technical skills and experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes and should be skilled in multiple Environmental Statement topics.  The candidate should demonstrate project management abilities and hold knowledge of current environmental legislation.

We further expect candidates to be self-motivated and to bring a positive attitude to the work place in order to support the achievement of company objectives.

Principal Ornithologist/Ecologist (Glasgow based)
EnviroCentre’s Ecology team has grown from strength to strength in recent years and has developed an impressive project portfolio.  We are currently seeking to continue the development of our team by appointing a Principal Ornithologist.
The Principal Ornithologist will compliment and develop our existing ornithological team and will provide project and technical leadership on our varied portfolio of development projects across the UK, particularly in relation to the energy sector.
You will be a highly experienced professional ornithologist with at least 8-10 years experience in consultancy.  You will be a strong communicator with skills in client and regulator liaison and have a track-record of winning and delivering projects. 
Although you will be an ornithological specialist, you will be able to work across other ecological disciplines and provide high level support to the wider Ecology team.  The opportunity also exists to work with our wider team of environmental professionals.
