EnviroCentre have delivered resource, material and carbon accounting projects and programmes at regional, national and international levels. The team has a wide range of experience in providing strong and reliable evidence to underpin and facilitate sustainable development and resource management decision making. Key Projects and Successes

• NAUE Product Carbon Calculator- EnviroCentre has been commissioned to develop a product carbon calculator that will identify the true environmental impact of a newly developed road building material. While the process using the new material releases less carbon into the atmosphere it is hoped that the carbon calculator will show that the product itself produced little Carbon during manufacture.
  
  
• Material Flow Analysis and Ecological Footprint of Northern Ireland- EnviroCentre was part of a project team along side Queens University Belfast and the ICE developing an ecological footprint for Northern Ireland to access their impact on the environment. The Northern Limits Project has developed further into Northern Visions which will help to deliver a programme of research, development and capacity building in applying resource accounting tools to policy development and decision-making.
