The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks incorporating the following elements:
Preparation of survey methods and compilation of ecological desk studies;
Assistance in the delivery of Phase 1 habitat and protected species surveys;
Assisting as Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) to monitor compliance with current legislation and good practice guidance and deliver onsite ecological auditing mainly on infrastructure projects in Scotland;
Data management and mapping using GIS;
Contributing to/producing high quality ecological reports;
Understanding and writing risk assessments for site work; and
Supporting office management and administrative tasks.
