Inverness Justice Centre
EnviroCentre provided Geo-environmental consultancy support in relation to the £23million new Inverness Justice Centre. The works incorporated a two tiered site investigation of a former bus depot and associated carpark site to obtain geotechnical and geochemical information to inform the design of the development. EnviroCentre designed, supervised and reported on the site investigation, including providing additional technical support in relation to specific geochemical requirements for the site.
The relocation of the justice centre will allow the court services to move out of Inverness Castle. This will allow for development of the castle under the City Deals initiative to create a sustainable, viable and “must-see” centre that will celebrate the spirit of the Highlands.
